Welcome to St John's, a vibrant church in the heart of Edinburgh. We hope that you will be able to visit us in person to admire our beautiful building, light a candle or pray, have a chat, stay for a service, meet with God in the city centre.
The church is open daily 8am to 4.45pm. The times of our regular services are shown on the Worship page.
Daily Prayer takes place in the chapel at St John's at 8.30am on Monday, 9.15am Tuesday-Friday and at 1.00pm Monday-Thursday. On Friday at 1.05pm Prayer Time at St John's takes place. You can join us by downloading this prayer sheet [PDF] and praying at home, at these or other times. All you need is a bible, a quiet corner and perhaps an icon or a candle.
