Silent prayer has been a part of Christian tradition for many years; it is similar in style to the ‘mindfulness’ which has increased in popularity in recent years. In this service a leader will introduce the session with some thoughts for reflection, which is followed by an extended time of silence and then some concluding prayers. The service lasts around 45 minutes.

Stay after the 10.30 Sung Eucharist for coffee and chat with other members of the congregation. All are welcome!! Tea and Coffee are served either in the north aisle of the main church, and we then enjoy one another’s company around the tables there, or in the Cornerstone Centre.
