Vestry Members are normally the “charity trustees” of the charity comprising the Charge and it is important that all individuals holding office in the Church are aware of their responsibilities under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005. The members of vestry, are responsible for the temporal aspects of church life (such as finances and fabric) and assist and co-operating with the Clergy in matters relating to the spirituality of the congregation. Our vestry membership is made up of the Rector, Associate Rector, Treasurer, Secretary, and the following lay members of St John’s: Azeem G, Tony F, Mo G, Fiona McL, and Anne M.
