Due to current restrictions St John’s is not open to the public – shown below are the usual opening times that we hope to resume in the near future.

St John’s is open during the day time Monday to Friday 1.00pm till 3.00pm across the summer months and on Sundays during service times.

Visitors are very welcome to come and see our beautiful building, to light a candle or pray, or just to get away from the busyness of the city centre.

The Red Cockerel Cafe is open from 10.00am – 5.00pm everyday.

The historic church grounds are open from 10.00am – 4.30pm throughout the year.

Our regular acts of worship take place during these times throughout the week.

During the summer months there will be a member of the Guardians team present  to answer your questions about St John’s.
